Jack and Jackie travel extensively throughout the west, concentrating particularly on the northwest states and adjoining Canadian provinces, searching out interesting spots along the byways and interesting people. Native American subjects and locations are a prominent part of that travel. Jack writes and photographs the subjects of stories while Jackie concentrates on photography.

Living in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho puts them in close contact with nature: the lush forests, beautiful lakes, and large variety of wildlife. We’re also within an hour of Washington and Montana, two hours of British Columbia and three hours of Alberta, in perhaps the most scenic area of the country. Many years of residence have provided an intimate knowledge of this region.
